Premium Innovation

The goal of Lidskoe’’s long-term vision is to premiumize the brand portfolio through successful and profitable innovations. The beer market is stagnating due to the economic recession and covid, while the premium segment at affordable prices is growing. However, the company itself does not have strong enough recognizable premium brands and is associated with popular, but not premium, products. Challenge: Find growth ideas and platforms in a declining market for profitable growth and increase market position.
Master-brand innovations in the beer category were the answer: 1) a premium variety in a unique vintage bottle “Ideal”, 2) an updated line of craft beer “Master’s Collection”, 3) the launch of a revolutionary new hard lemonade product.
Thanks to innovations and effective communications, according to research, the master brand “Lidskoe” has become the most preferred brand on the market, the image attributes of the brand “innovative”, “premium” and “fashionable” have grown significantly, new products have been able to attract completely new young people. consumers. Commercial results exceeded expectations in terms of revenue, profitability and premium share, which grew to an all-time high in the brand’s history.
“The Champions” Project:
building a personnel efficiency cycle through the KPIs system
and leadership competencies

In a large FMCG company, there was no clear and transparent performance management system, which included part of the achievement of results in terms of shared KPIs (shared KPIs) among top managers and teams, and part of the leadership competencies associated with the vision of the company, and also part of the impact of evaluations on the development of employees and their motivation.
“The Champions” project made it possible to develop a transparent system of KPIs for top managers and their direct reports in order to synchronize efforts in achieving strategic goals. A new system of 10 leadership competencies was developed with clear indicators and levels of compliance for the level of managers, specialists and workers, tested on reference groups with a result of 85%, finalized and launched for implementation throughout the company (800+ people) with further tracking of the personal development plan of each employee and integration into the compensation system.
The positive impact of the Champions project was confirmed during the employee survey. Most respondents noted that leadership competencies, development plans and KPIs systems are necessary as a tool to influence the level of trust and collaboration in the company, to improve corporate culture and to improve the reward and motivation system, which as a result leads to a higher level of involvement and satisfaction of the staff.
HUDA Rebranding and market expansion in Vietnam

Brand development and renewal was a 360 marketing plan that focused on developing an evolutionary but more modern packaging design, creating an identity structure (Visual ID) that emphasized authenticity, uniqueness and pride in the central part of Vietnam, launching the new Huda Gold, which is a premium version of the brand. The increase in market share was made by the decision to enter the neighboring market – one of the six major cities in Vietnam – Denmark, which is assessed as an underestimated market for the Huda brand. In practice, a strategy of selective geographical expansion and portfolio architecture was applied, which ultimately increased the share from 0% to 21%.
Huda’s market share in the center of Vietnam became prominent, brand loyalty, consumption and image attributes increased, PR campaign was loved by consumers, updated packaging has already been used for 7 years. Newly built distribution in Danang city (Central Vientam) became 3rd biggest for the brand.

In 2020, in 4 stages and with the involvement of 55 key people and top management, a long-term strategy for 5 years was created for the Lidskoe company. This approach has been applied before in FMCG companies in Vietnam and Belarus. This tool is a clear integration system for analyzing the business, what has been achieved by the company in retrospect, where it is in a competitive environment at the moment, what opportunities exist in the markets in brands, customers, consumers, as well as in human capital, social responsibility, and in improving efficiency within the company.
The strategy is done both for the usual scenario (basic strategy) and for the inspiring option (no-limit strategy) to show the development perspective and evaluate the resources to achieve ambitious goals.
